Personly appeared before
me William M. Reed an acting Justice of the
Peace in and for the said County, James Gibbons
who being duly sworn deposeth and sayeth that
some time in the fall of eighteen hundred and
thirty two the deponent witnessed a contract
mutually entered into between Thomas Cotton Standly
and John Standly Jr his Brother that all the
property that the said Cotton Standly Owned at
that time in case of his death and the said
John Standly should survive and any and
all that he the said Thomas Cotton Standly might
accumulate before his death was given and
bequeathed to his said brother John Standly
viz About two hundred head of stock Cattle
one mare and colt one horse &c and the
deponent further saith that he has repeately heard
the Aforesaid Thomas Cotton Standly assurt
the same since And also a short time before
his death
