Alachua County		Personally Appeared before 
me John G. Blitch  and after being duly sworn 
in due form of law deponeth and says that 
he has been four years last past intametily Acquainted 
with Capt. Gabriel Priest and the deponent 
says he is authorized to say that Capt. Priest 
is a man of honesty and industry and his 
losses by the hostile Indians is much greater 
than his account set forth and further 
saith not
