I do hereby Acknowledge and Certify that a 
mortgage given by Gad Humphrey to F.D. 
Newcomb on two Negroes to secure the payment 
of a sum of money, has been cancelled and paid 
in full by said Humphrey  through me to 
Capt. W.M. Graham agent of said Newcomb 
and that said Humphries has satisfied and 
paid me in full for the same
