To All People, to whom these presents 
shall come greeting
		Know ye that I James A.D. 
Lawrence of the County of Alachua in the Terr
itory of Florida, for the Consideration of five hun
dred dollars, Lawful Money of the United States 
to me in hand paid by George E. McClelland before 
the sealing and delivery of these presents, the 
receipt whereof is hereby fully Acknowledged do give 
grant bargain and sell unto the said George E. 
McClellan my two Negro Slaves, Dick a male aged 
about fifty years and Charlotte about thirty five years 
of age a female with all her future increase, Also my 
sorrel horse about seven years of age and also 
all my stock of Cattle Carefully Collected and Counted 
Amounting to twenty four head Marked and branded 
with the letter L said stock being all that are 
owned and possessed by me, It being my intention 
hereby to Convey unto the said George E. McClellan 
all the stock that belong to me, though it shall be 
found at any future Collection and Counting that 
thereof number exceeds the amount herein above 
stated  To have and to hold the above granted 
and bargained premises unto him the said Geo 
E. McClellan, or to his executors administratorsor
assigns for ever to his  and their proper use 
and behoof
	And I the said James A.D. Lawrence 
do for myself my executors and Administrators 
do covenant with the said George E. McClellan 
his executors Administrators and Assigns that I 
have good and lawful right to grant 
bargain and sell the premises above granted
