Florida		Know all men by these presents 
that I Barthelow Gany, has this day executed to 
Simeon Dell , this day my Promissory Note for 
One hundred & Twenty five Dollars for Value Rec'd 
payable on the first day of January next bearing 
even date with this Mortgage for the true payment 
of the above named note I do mortgage unto 
Simeon Dell -  A certain Negro man by the 
name Jim aged about twenty one.  The Condition 
of the above Obligation is such that if the 
said Gainy shall well and truly pay to the 
above named Simeon Dell the above Note for 
One hundred & twenty five Dollars then the above 
Obligation to be Null & void  Else to stand in full 
force   The said Dell shall be Authorized to 
take the said Negro And Expose to Publik 
sale And pay him self And all expenses
