Know all men by these presents that I
Stephen W. Walton, for and in consideration of the sum of
five hundred dollars, to me in hand paid by George Center
the receipt whereof, is hereby acknowledged, have this day
bargained, sold, released, alienated & transferred to the said
George Center, all my right title & interest in and to the goods
comprising the store and trading establishment at twelve mile pond
consisting of cotton domestic, cloths, shawls, Beads, Powder,
Lead, Tobacco, Soap, corn, fodder, &c,&c, & the skins and furs
on hand in said establishment together with the debts and
demands due to the same, also two Bay Horses (one a gelding
and the other a two year old stud Colt) and a lot of
fourteen Hogs, also one feather and two wool or cotton
Beds, three Blankets fifteen sheets, two Bed steads one
side Board and six chairs ___
In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand this 29th day December 1832
