Know all men by these presents that I Benett
M. Dell of Alachua County in the Territory of
Florida for and in consideration of the sum of
Eleven hundred dollars to me in hand paid
by Jane Ann Clark wife of Asa Clark of the County
aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these
presents this receipt whereof I do hereby Acknowledge have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
grant bargain and sell unto the said Jane Ann
Clark and her children by the said Asa Clark
begotten or to be hereafter begotten and their heirs One
Negro woman named Sarah aged about twenty
five years, one negro boy named Frank aged about
eight years and one female infant child a daughter
of the said Sarah aged about six month. To have
and to hold the above mentioned negro slaves together
with their increase to the said Jane Ann Clark
during her life and after her death to her children
aforesaid begotten or to be begotten of her said husband
Asa Clark and their heirs Executors & assigns
