south ten degrees east seventy chains seventy one links parallel

oak to the hickory at the commencement Bulling and Bound
ing to the north on lands of Charles W. Clarke to the East
Paynes Savannah to the South on lands of George I.F. Clarke
and to the west on vacant land having such shape
form marks crses and distances as are discribed in a
plat of the said tract made by the said George I.F. Clarke
Surveyor general of the said Province on the first day of
November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hun
dred and seventeen and recorded among the Public
Documents of the Province a copy of which is annexed
to the conveyance of the said tract of land by the said George
I.F. Clarke to me the said Thomas Napier Also all the
Estate right where and interest which I the said Thomas Napier
in and to all and singular One thousand six hundred
and sixty four acres of land situate lying and being in
the tract of country known by the name of Alachua in the
county of Alachua in the Territory of Florida bounding and
measuring according to a survey and plat made by
by Joshua A. Coffee Surveyor dated the eighth day of
October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty four as follows The first line beginning at a
dry live oak tree marked XIIII and runs north two hundred
and eighty chains to a water oak with the same mark, thence
runs west eighty chains to a live oak tree with the same
mark thence runs South Two hundred and eighty chains
to the place of beginning being part of and included in a
large tract of land granted to Fernando de Arredondo and
son on the twenty second day of December in the
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and
seventeen at Havanna by the Spanish Authorities
