		Know men by these presents that I 
Eliza Ann Ganny for and in consideration of 
the sum of one thousand dollars to me in 
hand paid at and before the sealing and 
delivery of these presents _ by Simeon Dell 
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have 
bargained and sold, and do by these _ 
bargain sell and deliver said Simeon Dell 
my Negro man - Jim
   To have and to hold the said negro man 
Gim unto the said Simeon Dell his 
heirs executors administrators and assigns to 
his and their own proper use and benefit 
forever and I the said Eliza Ann Ganny 
do warrant and forever defend the said Simeon 
Dell, his heirs executors administrators and 
assigns
	In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set 
my hand and seal dated at S. Nelomes 
on the 26th day of January in the year 
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and thirty nine and the sixty third year 
of the Independence of the United States
