This Indenture made this eight day of January in the 
year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty nine 
between Richard Lang of Jefferson County on the one 
part S.D. Fernandez of Duval County on the other 
part,  Witnesseth that the said Richard Lang party 
of the fist part For and in consideration of the sum 
of seven hundred dollars to him in hand paid 
at and before the sealing and delivery of these 
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
hath granted bargained and sold and by these 
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto 
the said S.D. Fernandez party of the second 
part  All of his right Claims interest and title 
in and to any land that may to him belong in 
the County of Alachua  And on the West side of 
the River St Johns, above Bernards ferry and 
at the place where the road called Semfelokey 
crosses said River  Said land having been 
granted by the late Spanish Government to Domingo 
Fernandez for services and losses and claimed 
by the said Richard Lang in Right of his wife 
Ellany H.P. Fernandez.  To have and to hold the 
said Lands unto the said S.D. Fernandez his heirs 
and successors together with all and singular the 
Rights and Appurtenances to the same in any manner 
belonging to his and their proper use and behoof 
forever  And the said Richard Lang for himself 
his heirs executors administrators and assigns 
the said bargained premises unto the said Stephen 
D. Fernandez his heirs executors administrators 
and assigns will warrant and forever 
defend the right and title thereof (other side
