being and lying in that part of said Territory, lately known
as the Province of East Florida; To thousand Acres thereof, being
the Northern half of four thousand Acres tract, surveyed at a
place called Cabbage Hammock, lying on the south side of
Dumas Creek, which communicates Duorns Lake with St.
Johns River. And the other two thousand Acres, being a two
thousand Acre tract surveyed at a place called Cohen Swamp
Alias Sugar Town, on a path or road from what was called Paynes
Town to Ocklawaha Creek, both the aforesaid Tracts form part of
Sixteen thousand Acres, granted to the said Breward by the
late Spanish Government, on the twenty fourth day of August
eighteen hundred & Sixteen, as will be more particularly shown
by the plats and Certificate of the Surveyor General of that province
Annexed to this Deed ___
To have and to hold the Said two parcels of land of two
thousand Acres each, unto him the said Clarke his heirs & Assigns
together with all and Singular the rights, members & Appurtenances
to the same in any manner belonging to his and their proper use and
behoof in Fee Simple. ___
And the said Breward, for himself, his heirs, Executors
and Administrators, the said bargained premises, unto the said
Clarke his heirs & Assigns, will warrant & forever defend the rights
and titles thereof, against him and themselves, but not against
the rights and claims of any other person, this being altogether a
quit claim sale
