This Indenture made this First day of July one
thousand eight hundred and thirty nine Between
John Tucker of Alachua County, in the Territory of
Florida of the first part and Charles Goodrich
of the same County and Territory of the second part
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars
good and lawful money of the United States of
America to him in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at or before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is here
by Acknowledged hath granted bargained sold
aliened, remised, released, conveyed, and confirmed
and by these presents doth grant bargain, sell
alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part and to his heirs
and Assigns forever, All that tract or parcel of land
situate lying & being in the County of Alachua in the
Territory of Florida containing eighty acres of land -
purchased by the said John Tucker of the United
States in two parcels as per the Receivers Receipts of
December twenty second A.D. 1837 for forty acres 09-100 &
discribed therein as the South East of the South East
quarter of section twenty nine of Township seven -
range Eighteen south & East And per Receivers
Receipt of January the sixteenth A.D. 1839 for forty & 9/100
Acres and discribed therein as the South West quarter
of South West quarter of Section Number twenty
Eight in Township Number seven of Range Number
eighteen South & East Composing the aforesaid
Eighty Acres of Land and being in about
four miles of Newnansville
Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging |
