This Indenture made this nineteenth day of June One thousand 
eight hundred and thirty two between John H. McIntosh Jun'r 
of Oaklands Plantation County of Alachua and Territory of Florida of 
the one part and Joseph Lawton and Charles Lawton merchants and 
partners trading under the firm of J&C Lawton of the City of 
Charleston, South Carolina of the second part_______
Whereas the said J.H. McIntosh Jun'r is justly indebted 
to the said parties of the second part in the sum of Four 
thousand sixty five and 11/100 Dollars lawful money of the 
United States aforesaid to be paid by his bond or obligation 
bearing even date herewith in the penal sum of Eight thousand 
one hundred and thirty 22/100 Dollars lawful money aforesaid  
Conditioned for the payment of the first mentioned sum of 
Four thousand sixty five 11/100 Dollars__  With legal interest 
from the first day of July next as by the said bond or obligation 
and the condition thereof may appear                Now 
this Indenture Witnesseth that the said party of the
