in his presence acknowledged that he assigned
the within Deed or instrument of writing for
the purposes therein contained

Know all men by these presents, that I David Levy for and
in consideration of the sum of One thousand Dollars to me in
hand paid by Archibald H. Colt the receipt whereof is hereby
Acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Archibald
H. Cole his heirs and assigns forever, One undivided half part
of an undivided fourth interest in and to a tract of three thousand
acres of Land situated in Colleys Hammock in Alachua County
and which is the same One fourth interest, which was conveyed
to me by Stephen D. Fernandez and Eliza his wife by Deed dated
the first day of August A.D. 1839. ___
