This Indenture, made the fourteenth day of Feb'y in the 
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & forty ___  
between James Pendarvis of the Town of Newnansville 
County of Alachua East Florida of the first part and Augustus 
W. Walker of the City of Saint Augustine County of St. Johns E.F. 
of the second part  Witnesseth, that the said party of first 
part, for and in Consideration of Five Hundred Dollars lawful 
Money of the United States of America, to him in hand paid 
by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing 
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby 
Acknowledged, has granted, bargained, Sold Aliened, remised 
released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do 
grant, bargain, sell, Alien, remise release, convey & confirm 
unto the said party of the second part & his heirs & assigns 
forever that certain tract of Land situated in the quarter section 
known by the name Town of Newnansville, and being Lot 
number One of said Town, said Lot bounding north by Merchants
