Iris his wife and her one child, Quoa and his wife Betty, 
Pizarro and his wife Cornelia, Colonel and his wife 
Fatina, Little Lewis and his wife Hagar, Old Hagar, 
Sandy and Adam.  To Have and to Hold all and 
singular the herein before granted and released 
premises with the appurtenances and all of the above 
named slaves with all the future increase and issue 
of the female slaves aforesaid unto the said Joseph and 
Charles Lawton aforesaid their Heirs Executors administrators 
and assigns forever and to their own proper use and behoof 
forever provided always and these presents are upon this condition 
nevertheless that if the said J.H. McIntosh Jun'r of the first 
part his heirs executors or administrators or any of them shall 
well and truly pay unto the said parties of the second part 
their executors administrators or assigns  the said sum of money 
mentioned in the condition of the aforesaid Bond or Obligation 
of him the said J.H. McIntosh Jun'r at the time and in 
the manner therein specified according to the true intent 
and meaning thereof that then and from thence forth these 
presents and the Estate hereby granted and every thing herein 
contained shall cease and determine and be absolutely void 
to all intents and purposes and the said John H. Mc
Intosh Jun'r for himself heirs Executors and adminis
trators doth Covenant grant promise and agree to and 
with the said parties of the second part their executors 
administrators and assigns the sum of money aforesaid 
(Four Thousand sixty five 11/100 Dollars) at the time and in 
the manner herein before mentioned according to the 
condition of the said Bond or Obligation well and truly 
to pay -  In Witness whereof the parties to these presents 
have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and 
year first within written
