me William Marvin whom I know and Acknowledged 
that he executed the within Deed, which to me is satisfactory 
evidence of its due execution

Know all men by these presents, that we Joseph Simeon Sanchez 
and Mary his wife of St. Augustine in the Territory of Florida for 
and in consideration of three hundred Dollars to me in hand paid 
by William Marvin of Key West in said Territory, have granted, 
bargained, sold, aliened and confirmed, and by these presents Do 
grant, Bargain, sell, Alien and confirm, unto the said William 
Marvin his heirs and assigns forever, five hundred Acres of Land 
being an undivided part of Two thousand Acres Situate on the 
Santafe River and is discribed in the Original thereof as 
bounded on the West by Lands of Don Francisco Roman Sanchez 
and on the other sides by said River, as will appear by reference 
to said grant from the Spanish Government to the said Joseph 
S. Sanchez, bearing date January 12th 1818 and now on file in the 
Office of Public Archives at St. Augustine _  To have and to hold 
the said premises with their Appurtenances to the said William 
Marvin, his heirs & Assigns forever __  And I the said Joseph S. 
Sanchez do covenant and agree to and with the said Marvin his 
heirs and Assigns, that I am well seized of the aforesaid premises
