Know all men by these presents, That I Francis Roman Sanchez 
of the County of Alachua and Territory of Florida for and in 
consideration of the sum of Five Dollars to me in hand paid by 
Leigh Read of Leon County Territory aforesaid, the receipt whereof 
I do hereby Acknowledge, have granted, bargained, Sold, Aliened and 
conveyed, and by these presents, grant, bargain, sell, Alien & Convey 
unto the said Leigh Read, his heirs and assigns forever, Four 
thousand Acres of Land, granted and conceded to me, the said 
Francis R. Sanchez, by the Spanish Government, on the 18th day of 
December      , and discribed in the grant or Concession as being 
situated about ten miles Westward of the Alachua Road that leading 
to St. Marys, and as bounded on the North by the River Santafe 
and on the other sides by lands (then) Vacant an exemplified Copy 
of which Grant or Concession is herewith delivered, together with an 
Authentic Copy of the Survey of said Grant or Concession, Made by 
J.A. Coffee County Surveyor of Alachua County in June 1825.
To have and to hold the said bargained premises with thereunto 
belonging to him  the said Leigh Read his heirs and assigns forever  
And I the said Francis Roman Sanchez, do covenant & agree 
to and with the said Leigh Read his heirs Executors Administrators 
and assigns, that I am well seized of the aforesaid premises, that I 
have full right to sell and convey the same, and that I will Warrant 
and defend the same against all persons claiming or to claim the same 
to the said Leigh Read his heirs and assigns forever by these presents
