Alachua County		Be it remembered that on this 
thirtieth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight 
hundred and forty  before me Stephen Fagan One the Justices 
of the peace of and for said County personally came before me 
the above named Wife of James Burnett and separately and 
apart from her said Husband, made and executed the above Ack
nowledgment ___  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed 
my name and affixed my seal the above day & date

Receivers Office at St Augustine E.F.  April 4th 1839
Received from Archibald McNeill of Alachua County the sum of 
Two hundred Dollars and Ten Cents being in full for the East half of 
south West quarter, and West half of South east quarter of Section 
Number Eighteen in Township Number eight of Range Number Nine
teen South and East containing each Eighty Acres and four hundredths 
at One Dollar and twenty five Cents per Acre, and for which tracts 
or such portion these of as shall have been Ascertained, not to be 
claimed by a valid right of preemption, under the Act of twenty 
Second of June eighteen hundred & thirty eight, a patent will be 
issued after the twenty second June eighteen hundred & forty and 
this receipt will entitle the purchaser or assignee to a return of the 
purchase money without interest of the Land claimed by such 
Preemption right, or of the whole tract at his option ___
