execute and deliver the same as his voluntary act 
for the use and purposes therein mentioned and 
that he the said Jasper Ward at the same time 
of the execution thereof subscribed his name there
to as a witness which being satisfactory evidence 
to me of the due execution of said deed and 
having examined the same and finding there is no 
material reason or interlineation I allow it to be 
recorded

my Office with the certificate thereon endorsed 
whereupon I have recorded the same  witness my name 
as clerk of the County Court for the County and 
Territory Aforesaid the date above written

This Indenture made the first day of September in 
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and twenty six  Between Elisha Huntington of the 
City of New York Merchant and Maria Elizabeth 
his wife of the first part and David LaTourrette 
of said City.  Witnesseth that the said party of 
the first part for and in consideration of the sum 
of two thousand eight hundred and sixty three dollars 
lawful money of the United States to be paid by the 
said party of the second part  to Thomas Gibbon of 
the City of New York And in Consideration of the 
further sum of nine thousand dollars of like money to 
them in hand paid at or before the ensealing of 
and delivery of these presents by the said party of
