the second part the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged 
and the said parties of the first part therewith fully satisfyed 
Contented and paid have remised released and quit claimed 
and by these Presents do remise release and quit claim 
unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs 
and assigns forever  Twelve thousand acres of land being 
an undivided part of thirty thousand acres, which thirty 
thousand acres of land is an undivided part of a large tract 
of Land containing two hundred and eighty nine thousand 
six hundred and forty five acres & five sevenths of 
an acre situated lying and being in the Alachua Territory in 
East Florida  West of St. Augustine as by reference to the 
grant made to Don Fernando de la Maza Arredondo & 
Son of the said tract by the Spanish Government which 
Grant is dated Havanna on the twenty second day of 
December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight 
hundred and seventeen will more fully appear the said 
large tract of two hundred and eighty nine thousand 
six hundred and forty five acres and five sevenths of an acre 
is to be divided into twelve parts and these parts to be ballo
ted for by the parties interested in the division to be made 
Together with all and singular the hereditaments and 
Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining 
and the remision and remisions remainer and remainders 
rents issues and proffits thereof and also all the estate 
right title interest *** dower and right of dower 
property possession claim and demand whatsoever 
as well in law as in Equity of the said parties of the 
first part of in or to the above released remised 
and bargained premises and every part and parcel there
of with the Appurtenances to have and to hold all and 
singular the premises above discribed and released 
together with the Appurtenances unto the said party 
of the second part his heirs and assigns forever subject 
nevertheless to the payment of the said sum of two
