South, being the same Lots, that the said Isaac Garrason now
resides on, __ __ And Whereas the said Isaac Garrason
hath given unto the said Joel Tison his certain promisory bearing
even date with these presents for the said sum of six hundred
and three Dollars and forty Cents, and he the said I. Garrason
being disirous of the better securing the payment of said sum
unto the said Joel Tison, his heirs and assigns, hath executed the
above indenture, and the said Isaac Garrason doth agree to Warr
ant and defend the Titles of the said Lots unto the said Joel
Tison his heirs and assigns against himself his heirs and all other
persons ___
Provided Nevertheless and it is expressly Understood
that if the said I. Garrason shall well and truly pay the said
sum of Six Hundred & three Dollars and forty Cents with lawfull
interest from date, on or by the first day of January Eighteen hundred
and forty two, then and in that Case it is expressly Understood
that in that case this Indenture to cease and be of none effect
but if the said I. Garrason should fail to comply with said
conditions then this Indenture to remain in full force agreeable
to the Statute in such case made and provided ___
