State of Newyork
City & County of Newyork	On the thirty first day of December in the year of our 
Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty two, before me came Walter Mead 
and Maria his wife, to me known to be the same individuals described in and who 
executed the preceding Indenture, and Acknowledged the same to be their Act & 
deed, and the said Maria being by me examined privately separate and apart 
from her said Husband Acknowledged that she executed the same freely without 
any force or compulsion of her said Husband

City & County of Newyork	I Joseph Hoxie clerk of the City and County of New
york, and also clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, for the said City and County 
Do hereby Certify, That S. Cambreleng whose name is Subscribed to the Certificate 
of the proof or Acknowledgement of the annexed instrument, and thereon written 
was at the time of taking such proof or Acknowledgement, a commissioner of 
Deeds, for said City and County, dwelling in the said City, commissioned & sworn 
and duly Authorized to take the same.  And further that I am well acquainted 
with the hand writing of such commissioner, and verily believe that the Sig
nature to the said Certificate of proof or Acknowledgement is genuine.
	In Testimony Whereof  I have hereunto set my hand & affixed 
the Seal of the said Court and County the fourteenth day of Novem.  1840
