have and to hold the said Lots and premises and every part 
thereof with the Appurtenances unto the said William D. Simmons and 
John C. Clelland  their heirs and Assigns forever as fully & Absolutely 
as I the said Jesse Carter  Treasurer Aforesaid and under the Authority 
Aforesaid, might, could or ought to sell & convey the same

Alachua County 		Be it remembered that on the fourth 
day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred 
and forty one ___  before me James McNeill Clerk of the County Court of 
Alachua County, duly Commissioned and Qualified, personally came 
James Pendarvis  ___  One of the Subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Deed 
of Conveyance who being duly sworn , declares and Says that he saw 
Jesse Carter the Grantor in the said Deed Sign Seal and deliver the 
same, for the purposes in the said Deed mentioned ____

purchasers of lots in the Town of Newnansville, Deeds of Conveyance
