for the Lots by them respectively entered,   And Whereas Kingsley B. Gibbs 
stands noted and entered upon the plot of said Town in my custody as the 
purchaser of the Lots herein after Specified,   Now know ye That I 
the said Jesse Carter Treasurer of the said County of Alachua by virtue of the 
Authority so as aforesaid in me vested in Consideration of the sum of 
forty one Dollars paid by the said Kingsley B. Gibbs the receipt whereof 
is hereby Acknowledged  have granted, bargained and sold and by these 
presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the said Kingsley B. Gibbs and to 
his heirs and Assigns forever  All those certain Lots designated as Lots num
bers four and five in Block number two Range number four, up the 
plan of the Town as filed & existing in the Clerk's Office of the County 
Court of Alachua Aforesaid   Together with all and Singular the heredi
taments & Appurtenances to the same in any wise belonging ____  
To have and to hold the said Lots and premises, with every part thereof 
with the Appurtenances unto the said Kingsley B. Gibbs  his heirs and Assigns for
ever as fully & Absolutely as I the said Jesse Carter  Treasurer Aforesaid 
and under the Authority Aforesaid, might, could or ought to sell & convey 
the same
	In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
affixed my Seal this 12th day of October AD 1839

Alachua County 		Be it remembered that on the fourth day of Jan'y in the 
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty one ___  before me James McNeill 
Clerk of the County Court of Alachua County, duly Commissioned and Qualified, personally 
came James Pendarvis  one of the subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Deed of Convey
ance who being duly sworn , declares and Says that he saw Jesse Carter the Grantor 
insaid Deed sign Seal and deliver the same for the purposes therein contained.
