To all to whom these presents shall come__
I John J. Sanchez Commissioner of Town Lots in Newnansville, Alachua 
County ___	Whereas by an order of the Judge of the County 
Court Of Alachua County in the Territory of Florida and entered of 
record, it is directed that the Commissioner of said Town Lots shall 
make execute and deliver to the purchasers of Lots in the Town of 
Newnansville Deeds of Conveyance for the Lots by them respectively 
entered,  And Whereas James McNeill stands noted & entered upon 
the plot of said Town in my custody as the purchaser of the Lot herein 
after Specified ____  Now know ye , That I the said John J. Sanchez 
Commissioner as aforesaid by virtue of the Authority in me vested in 
consideration of the sum of fifteen Dollars and fifty Cents paid by the 
said James McNeill, the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged, 
have granted bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant 
bargain & Sell unto the said James McNeill and to his heirs & Assigns 
forever,  All that certain Lot designated as Lot seventeen, in the outside 
range of Lots on the North East quarter of Newnansville joining Fleming 
Bates Lots, on the plan of the Town as filed and existing in the Clerks 
Office of the County Court of Alachua County Aforesaid   Together 
with all and Singular the hereditaments and Appurtenances, to the 
same in any wise belonging_  To have and to hold the said 
Lot and premises and every part thereof with the Appurtenances 
unto the said James McNeill his heirs and Assigns forever as full 
and absolutely as I the said John J. Sanchez Commissioner 
Aforesaid, might, could or ought to sell and Convey the same ____
	In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand 
and Affixed my Seal this fourteenth day of Jan'y AD 1841
