County of Alachua	Be it remembered that on this 26th day of 
December AD 1840 personally appeared before me the Subscriber a Justice 
of the Peace in and for the said County, Mary Worthington wife of the afore
said Samuel Worthington, who being by me examined privately & apart from
her said husband, she did then and there Acknowledge that she had signed 
sealed and delivered the foregoing renunciation, relinquishment & release of 
Dower and that she had done so freely, voluntarily and without any 
Compulsion constraint and Apprehension or fear of or from her said husband 
and that she wished not to retract it,
	Given under my hand & Seal this 26th day of December AD 1840

Alachua County		This Indenture made this Twentieth day 
of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred & forty  
Between Moses Horne of the first part and James Barnet both of the 
County & Territory Aforesaid of the second part   Witnesseth that the said 
party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred 
Dollars in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt 
whereof is hereby Acknowledged, hath bargained Sold conveyed and 
confirmed, and by these presents   Do grant bargain Sell convey & Confirm 
unto the Said party of the Second part, a tract of Land being the North
