Received from James Garner of Alachua County E.F. the sum
of Fifty Dollars Twenty five Cents being in full for N.W. quarter
of S.E. quarter Section number 34 Township number 7 Range
number 21 South & East 41 Acres ___ Containing Forty One Acres
at the rate of One Dollar and twenty five Cents per Acre

Know all men by these presents that I James Sparkman of the
County of Alachua and Territory of Florida for and in consideration
of the sum of Five hundred and twenty five Dollars to me in hand
paid by Hugh Sweeney of the said County, the receipt whereof
I hereby Acknowledge, have bargained Sold and delivered, and by
these presents do bargain, Sell and deliver unto the said Hugh
Sweeney a tract of land lying and being in the said County of
Alachua and Territory of Florida bounded as follows viz. One
Sixteenth part of a Section No. 34 thirty four, Township No.7 Seven
Range No.21 Twenty one Containing forty one Acres and all of the building
thereon To have and to hold the Aforesaid bargained premises and
all the improvements unto the said Hugh Sweeney his heirs executors
Administrators and Assigns forever, And I the said James Sparkman
for myself my heirs executors and Administrators shall and will Warrant
and defend the same against all persons unto the said Hugh
Sweeney his heirs executors Administrators and Assigns forever by these
presents __ In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
Seal, this ninth day of November AD 1840 at Fort Harlee E.F.
