Aforesaid of the said Southern Life Insurance and Trust Company or to his 
Successors in Office or Assigns the said several sums of Money hereinbefore 
mentioned and the interest thereon Accrued and to accrue the twenty fourth 
day of October next ensuing the date of these presents, then these presents 
and every matter and thing herein contained shall cease determine 
and become void, Otherwise to remain in full force and effect __ ___

Know all men by these presents that I Mary Humphreys 
wife of the said Gad Humphreys party of the first part to the 
foregoing Deed of Mortgage conveyed in consideration of the sum 
of Ten Dollars to me in hand paid by the said George Field President 
Aforesaid of the said Southern Life Insurance and Trust Company, party 
of the second part, to said Deed, at and before the Sealing and 
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I hereby Acknowledge 
have remised released, renounced and relinquished and forever 
quit claim and by these presents, do remise, release, renounce & 
relinquish and forever quit claim, unto the said George Field Pre
sident Aforesaid of the said Southern Life Insurance and Trust Company 
and to his Successors in Office and assigns, Subject Nevertheless to the 
Proviso in said foregoing Mortgage conveyance all my Dower & 
right and title of Dower, which I may at any time hereafter have 
claim or demand, of in to or out of all and Singular the said premises 
in said Mortgage conveyance mentioned and described ___
