person or persons whatever in Fee Simple, And the said Ashley H. Brooks 
for himself his heirs and assigns, doth covenant and agree to and with the 
said Jesse Stanley, his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns, the above 
mentioned and described Tract of Land, he the said Ashley H. Brooks 
his heirs Executors and administrators Will to the said Jesse Stanley, 
and to his heirs & assigns, from and against the claim of the United 
States, and from and against the claim or claims of all and every person 
or persons whomsoever, Will by these presents forever, assure, Secure, 
Warrant & defend --
