County of Newlondon On this twenty fourth day of July AD 1841
before me Samuel Church, Judge of the Superior Court of the said State
of Connecticut personally appeared Belton A. Copp of Groton in the
State and County Aforesaid, to me personally known and having by me
been duly Sworn According to Law, On his Oath doth solemnly swear
that he was one of the subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Deed of convey
ance that his name above as such subscribed is in his own proper hand
Writing, and that on the day of the date of said Deed, he saw the aforesaid
Grantor George I.F. Clarke sign Seal and execute the foregoing Deed freely
and Voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and that the
Signature of the said George I.F. Clarke and seal thereto affixed are the
proper hand writing thereof the said Grantor, and that the said Copp together
with John H. McIntosh in the presence of a said Grantor did at the time
Aforesaid subscribe their names as subscribing Witnesses as is above Written __

of the Supreme Court of Errors of the State of Connecticut in and for the
County of New London said State, Do Certify and make known to all to
whom these presents shall come_ That Samuel Church whose name is sub
scribed to the Certificate of the Affidavit of Belton A. Copp on the foregoing
Instrument, is and on the twenty fourth day of July AD 1841 was a Judge
of said Superior Court and said Supreme Court of errors of said State of Conn
ecticut and that the said Signature of the name of Samuel Church is the
Genuine Signature of the said Samuel Church in his own proper hand
writing In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed
the Seal of said Superior Court this second day of August 1841
