Translation

Don George Clarke Captain of the Northern Division of 
East Florida, and Surveyor General of said Province by Com
mission of Government ___  I Certify that I have Surveyed 
and bounded to John Brevard, two thousand Acres of land at 
Cedar Swamp to the West of St. Johns River, and place called Sugar 
Town, in part of a larger quantity granted him by Government as 
the portion Appertaining to a Saw Mill, which conforms with the 
following Plot and Its duplicate I retain among the Surveys 
under my Charge ___  Northern Division  Fourth of October 
Eighteen hundred and nineteen

County of St. John	On this 2nd day of June 1824 the written 
Instrument of Writing was presented to me in my Office by Joseph B. 
Lancaster at whose request, I have recorded the same with the plat thereto 
annexed in Book E page 16,  Witness my hand as Clerk of the County 
Court for the County and Territory Aforesaid the date Aforesaid
