James Sparkman his heirs and Assigns the aforementioned sum
of two hundred Dollars on the day and time mentioned and
appointed with the lawful interest for the same, according
to the tenor of said Note, then and from thenceforth as well
this present Indenture and the right to the property thereby
conveyed as the said promissory Note shall cease determine
and be void to all intents and purposes ____

This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of
April in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred
and forty two, at the City of St. Augustine Territory of Florida
Between Benjamin A. Putnam as Executor of the last Will and
Testament of the late Peter Mitchel deceased of the first part
and John Macpherson Berrien of the State of Georgia of the second
part, Witnesseth; Whereas Peter Mitchel did in his life time by an
agreement in Writing under his hand, agree and contract for Valuable
consideration received by him from the said party of the second part
to convey to the said party of the second part in fee Simple Absolute |
