Alachua County		Know all me by these presents 
that I Alonzo B. Noyes of the Town of Micanopy in the County of 
Alachua being justly indebted unto Augustus E. Noyes of Wacasessee in 
the County of Alachua in the Sum of Five hundred Dollars when these 
Promissory Notes made by me and dated as follows,  One for Two hundred 
Dollars dated 5th July 1842 and one for One hundred and fifty Dollars 
dated August 7th 1842 And one for One hundred and fifty Dollars dated 
15th September 1842.  All payable by me to the said Augustus E. Noyes or 
bearer on demand with Interest.  Now for the purpose of Securing the payments 
of said Debts, granted, bargained, Sold and Mortgaged and by these 
presents do grant, bargain, Sell and Mortgage, unto the Said Augustus E. 
Noyes, the following personable property To Wit,  My Negroe fellow 
Abraham aged thirty Seven years a Slave for life, Also Eight Cows 
and Calves and Five Yearling Steers,  To have and to hold the same
