whose name is, as Witness to the foregoing instrument of Writing, And made
Oath that he saw Thomas Piper Sign, Seal and deliver the same for the

Know all men by these presents, That We Peter Shen Smith
and Anne E.C. Smith his Wife of St. Augustine Territory of Florida
in Consideration of the Sum of One thousand Dollars to us in hand paid
by Seth F. Peck of the City and Territory Aforesaid, have granted bargained
Sold and released, and by these presents, Do grant, bargain, Sell, and
release unto the said Peck, an equal undivided half of moiety of on and
to Eight hundred Acres of Land Situated in East Florida in Youngblood's
Hammock South West of Rays trail so called, that Cordy from the Natural
Bridge of the Santa Fe River to the Indian Settlement called Hog Town
for the bounderies and a more particular description of the lands here conveyed
inference is here remanded grant or confirmed land claim hereto annexed
and attached, which is an Official Copy from the Public Archives kept of
Record in the Public Land Office at St. Augustine further four hundred Acres
were originally granted to William Garvin and were sold by his Widow Felicia
M.F. Garvin to James G. London by her legal and duly Authorized Attorney
Peter Shen Smith and by the said James London afterwards resold to Peter S.
Smith in his own right and now by the said Smith herewith sold & conveyed
to Seth F. Peck Together with all and Singular the Rights, Members Hereditaments
and Appurtenances, to the said premises belonging or in any wise incident
or Appertaining To have and to hold all and Singular the premises
before mentioned unto the said Peck his heirs and Assigns forever, And
we do hereby bind ourselves our heirs, Executors and Administrators to
Warrant and forever defend all and Singular the said premises unto the
