To all persons to whom these presents shall come 
John J. Sanchez of Alachua County a Commissioner of the Town Lots 
of Newnansville sendeth greeting.
	Whereas at the March Term of the County Court in the year AD 
1840 It was ordered by said Court, that the Town Commissioner be Authorized 
and required to make titles to Mary Ann Garrason to Lot No. 5 in block No. 3 
Range No. 2, the one she now resides on, without paying any Consideration Money 
for the same.  Therefore know ye, that I the said John J. Sanchez as Commiss
ioner as Aforesaid, in Virtue of the Authority and by force of the requirement 
of the said County Court as Aforesaid, have given granted, Aliened released 
and confirmed, And by these presents, do give, grant, alien, release and 
confirm unto the said Mary Ann Garrason, her heirs and Assigns the said 
Lot No. 5 in Block No. 3 & Range No. 2 together with the premises and App
urtenances to the said Land, and interest and property and every 
part and parcel thereof ___  To have and to hold the said Land 
and all and Singular the premises hereby granted and Conveyed with 
the Appurtenances unto the said Mary Ann Garrason her heirs and 
Assigns, and to the proper use and behoof of her and them forever _
	In Witness, I the said john J. Sanchez Commissioner 
Aforesaid have hereunto set my hand seal this Twentieth day of 
January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and 
forty three
