County of Alachua	This Indenture made this the 16th day 
of July in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty eight 
between Bennett M. Dell Administrator of the Estate of Thomas A. Holliday 
deceased of the County and Territory Aforesaid of the one part & Jesse Carter 
of the same place of the other part  Witnesseth, That the said Bennett M. Dell 
for and in Consideration of the sum of forty five Dollars to him in hand paid 
at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby 
Acknowledged hath granted Bargained Sold and Conveyed, and do by these 
presents, grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Jesse Carter his heirs 
and Assigns  One lot of Land lying and being in the County Aforesaid 
containing ten Acres, being a part of the east half of the South West quarter of Section 
Eleven Township eight and range eighteen South and East known as lot No. Seven
		To have and to hold said Lot of Land unto him the said Jesse 
Carter his heirs and Assigns together with all and Singular the rights members 
and Appurtenances thereof to the same in any way belonging to his and their own
