County of Alachua This Indenture made this third
day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and
thirty eight, between Bennett M. Dell Administrator of the Estate of Thomas
A. Holliday of the County of Alachua of the one part and Jesse Carter of
the County of Alachua of the other part Witnesseth, that the said B.M. Dell
for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars of lawful money
to him paid by the said Jesse Carter, the receipt whereof the said B.M. Dell
doth hereby Acknowledge, hath granted, bargained and Sold and by these
presents doth grant bargain Sell and convey unto the said Jesse Carter his
heirs and Assigns a tract or parcel of land containing ten Acres lying and
being in the said County of Alachua and known by name of lot No. 8 being
a part of the East half of the South West quarter of Section Eleven Township
eight 8 Range eighteen __ To have and to hold the said tract or parcel
of land with the Appurtenances thereto belonging to him the said Jesse
Carter his heirs and Assigns, to their proper use and behoof forever ___
And the said B.M. Dell for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators
doth hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said Jesse Carter his heirs and
Assigns, that the said B.M. Dell and his heirs the said tract or parcel of
land with its Appurtenances unto him the said Jesse Carter his heirs and
