Alachua County		This indenture made this the fourth 
day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred 
and forty three between William D. Grimes of the County of Alachua 
and Territory of Florida of the one part and Robert O. Dale of the County 
of Marbour and the state of Alabama of the other part Witnesseth 
that the said William D. Grimes for and in consideration of the sum 
of four thousand three hundred and eighty two Dollars and eighty one 
cents to him in hand paid by the said Robert O. Dale at or before the 
Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby Acknow
ledged, hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth 
grant bargain and sell unto the said Robert O. Dale his executors 
Administrators and Assigns, all and Singular the Negro Slaves herein 
after particularly named and described, that is to say..  Jim a Man about 
twenty years of age, Willis a Man about twenty one years of age, Jerry a man 
about thirty years of age, Dick a Man about forty five years of age, Griffin 
a boy about sixteen years of age, Dennis a boy about seventeen years of age, 
Greene a boy about sixteen years of age, Levin a boy about eighteen years of age, 
Alfred a man about twenty two years of age, Bob a man about thirty years of age, 
Harrison a man about twenty eight years of age, Toney a man about thirty 
five years of age, Bony a man about twenty five years of age, Ary a girl 
about fourteen years of age, Celia a woman about twenty one years of age, 
Sarah a woman of about twenty years of age, Caroline a woman about thirty 
years of age and her four children viz. Anderson a boy about five years of age, 
Martha a girl about three years of age, William about two years of age and 
Charles a boy about one year of age, Ann a woman of about twenty two years of 
age and her four children viz. Allen a boy about five years of age, Jefferson 
a boy about two years of age Anthony a boy about three years of age and her 
infant girl child about five months old, Clarissa a woman about thirty 
years of age and her four children viz. Maria a girl about ten years of 
age, Fort a boy about eight years of age, Charity a girl about five years of age 
and her infant girl child, Richardson a boy about twelve years of age 
together with all of their further increase of the above described slaves
