am indebted to Thomas C. Grimes of 
Hancock County Georgia in the sum 
of Ten thousand Five Hundred Dollars 
upon several Promisary Notes and other 
Wrightings upon which I am Held and 
Bound to the said Thomas C. Grimes and 
also in the consideration of the sum of one 
Thousand Dollars in hand Paid By the said 
Thomas C. Grimes at or before the sealing 
and Delivery of these presents, the receipt 
whereof is hereby Acknowledged, Have Barg
ained Granted and Sold and by these Presents 
do Grant Bargain & Sell unto the said Thomas 
C. Grimes his executors Administrators and assigns 
All and singular the Negro Slaves Here in

& Willis a Man About Twenty one years of Age
