This Indenture made the 23rd day of May AD 1843 
between Jesse Standly of the one part and Zelpha 
Standly of the other part both of the County of Alachua & 
Territory of Florida  Witnesseth that the said Jesse 
Standly for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred 
Dollars to him the said Jesse Standly in hand to him well 
and truly paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged 
hath granted Bargained and Sold And by these present doth 
grant, Bargain, sell and Convey unto the said Zelpha Standley 
her heirs and Assigns, all that tract of land and the Appur
tenances thereunto belonging  Known and designated by 
Surveys of the United States as the South West quarter of the 
South West  and the South east quarter of the South 
West quarter of Section Eight in Township Eight South & range 
Nineteen East, all the right title interest claim & demand 
whatsoever of him the said Jesse Standly of in and to the said 
premises and every part thereof____ ____
			To have and to hold the said 
premises and all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the 
Said Zilpha Standly her heirs and Assigns to the only proper 
use and behoof of the said Zelpha her heirs and Assigns forever
   And the said Jesse Standly for himself and his heirs the 
Said premises and every part thereof,  Against him his heirs 
and all persons claiming or to claim by or through him to 
the Said Zelpha Standly her heirs and Assigns, shall and 
will Warrant and forever defend by these presents _____
And the said Jesse Standly does hereby covenant and agree for 
himself and his heirs to make Seal and deliver any and all 
instruments, Deeds and Other Writings which may be necessary to 
secure the rights and titles of the said Zelpha Standly to the 
Aforesaid premises _____
