Territory of Florida
Alachua County		Know all men by these presents that 
I Stephen W. Walton of the Territory and County aforesaid 
for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and 
fifty dollars to me in hand paid (the receipt whereof 
I do hereby acknowledge) by Gad Humphreys & Geo Center of 
the said Territory and County, have bargained, sold, and delivered 
and by these presents do bargain, sell, and deliver to the 
said Humphreys & Center a certain Black Stud Horse 
known by the name of Othello, which said Horse I 
do hereby warrant and defend to the said Humphreys 
and Center against myself my heirs executors &c and against 
all claims whatsoever forever

		Given under my hand this sixth day 
of February 1834 --
