			Sir
			   You will deliver to Co’l Gad Humphreys 
or to his order the Mortgage agreement or conditional Sale bearing date 
the ninth of January 1832 given by him to me on sundry Slaves to 
wit. Sampson, Katy & Bob to secure to me a certain sum of 
money therein specified which said Mortgage was executed to me 
and by me delivered to you for record in your court the said -- 
Humphreys having fully paid and satisfied me for the money 
thereby intended to be secured

   This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty fifth day of 
December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred & Thirty 
Three between Bennett M. Dell of the County of Columbia between
& Territory of Florida & Wiley Brooks and Sarah his wife of the second 
part they being of the County of Alachua in the aforesaid Territory, and 
Simeon Dell of the County of Columbia aforesaid of the third part 
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Ten dollars 
to the said Bennett M. Dell in hand paid at and before the en
sealing and delivery of these presents by the said Simeon Dell the party 
of the third part to & for the use benefit & comfort of the said Sarah 
Brooks the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained 
sold and delivered & by these presents do bargain sell & deliver to 
the said Simeon Dell & his assigns forever the following named 
Negro Slaves -- To wit Patty a woman about Thirty years old, Jess 
a boy about three years & Newton a boy about Ten months 
old Also Six Indian Ponies branded with the letters AB, four
