Know all men by these presents that
I John M. Hanson have this day bargained, sold and delivered to Gad
Humphreys a Negro Woman Slave named Pamella now in the Seminole
Nation of Indians for and in consideration of Two Hundred dollars to me
in hand paid by said Humphreys
Witness my hand and seal at St Augustine
the 28th day of May 1828

Know all men by these presents that I Sally
of the Florida Indians Sister of Tuskeneha have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain and sell to Gad Humphreys of
Florida the following named and described Negro Slaves my property
to wit) Peggy aged about forty years and Hager & Joe her two children
the first aged about fourteen years & the last about sixteen years
For and in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred dollars to me
in hand paid by the said Gad the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
To have and to hold to the said Gad his heirs assigns &C &C the
said Slaves as their property and for their own proper use and behoof
forever And I the said Sally do hereby bind myself my heirs assigns &C &C
to defend to the said Gad his heirs assigns &C &C the right & Title to the
said Slaves against all claims whatsoever
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 12th day
of June 1827
