Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Chaldeas of
Florida have sold for the consideration of three Hundred dollars in
this day in hand received to Gad Humphreys of said Territory a Negro
Woman Slave named Phillis & her issue now or late in the
Creek Nation of Indians to have and to hold to the said Humphreys
for his use and behoof the said property hereby warranting the full
right and title to the same against all claims whatsoever

Know all men by these presents that
I James Perryman of the State of Georgia have this day sold granted
bargained and delivered to Gad Humphreys of Florida for and in
consideration of the sum of Six Hundred & fifty dollars to me in hand
paid by the said Humphreys (the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged) the following named and described property Negro Slaves
now residing in the Seminole Nation of Indians viz Lydia the
wife of a Negro fellow called March aged about thirty years and
all the increase or children of the said Lydia Except her oldest
daughter named Sarah which I have sold to the Chief Tugatskee
commonly called Charles To have and to hold to the said Humphreys
his heirs and assigns &C &C for their own proper use and behoof forever the
said Negroes as Slaves for life And I the said Perryman do by these
presents obligate myself my heirs assigns &C &C to forever warrant and
defend to the said Humphreys his heirs and assigns &C &C the title
to the said Slaves against all claims Whatever
