Garrason of the County of Alachua and Teritory of 
Florida Being indebted to Edmund Bird Sylvanus 
Ellis Jonas Ellis William Crum Theodore Flotard 
William Hogans and to sundry other persons 
residing in the Teritory of Florida as well as sundry 
merchants in Savannah Have bargained sold 
assigned and delivered and do by these presents 
bargain sell assign and deliver unto Samuel 
Piles of the aforesaid County of Alachua and 
Teritory of Florida all and singular the property 
of which I am possessed - consisting of goods 
wares & merchandise Books accounts notes claims 
and demands of any and every nature Horses stock 
of cattle stock of Hogs and improvement Bought 
from William Hogans  And my ****** 
right to certain property mortgaged to Darius 
Garrason Michael Garrason Samuel Piles William 
Piles and James Harn references to said mortgages 
had bearing date 29th September 
the present year will appear together with all 
property of which I am possessed or in any wise 
the owner of provided that this assignment 
is made to secure the payment of debts 
justly or lawfully due or to become due in 
any and every manner from me to the 
persons herein before mentioned as well as all 
other person not named in a **lable prop*tion 
according to their respective demands whether 
due by bond note Book account or in 
any other manner whatsoever and if not 
enough to settle the whole then none to 
be paid interest if more than enough each
