		This Indenture made this twenty 
fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and thirty four 
Between John Houston McIntosh Jr. of Alachua 
County East Florida of the first part and Ralph 
King and William King merchants and copartners 
trading under the style of R A W King of Savannah 
in said State of the second part _ Witnesseth 
that the party of the first part as well for the 
better securing to the parties of the second the faith
ful payment of debt, which the said John H. 
McIntosh Jr. the said party of the first part 
justly owes to the parties of the second part in 
manner herein after mentioned or in consider
ation of the sum of one dollar to him in 
hand paid by the parties of the second 
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
hath granted bargained sold aliened 
released and confirmed and by these presents 
doth grant bargain sell alien release and 
confirm unto the parties of the second part 
their heirs and assigns forever All that 
tract of Land situate lying and being in 
the County of Alachua in east Florida bounded 
east by Orange Lake West by Col D.L. Clinch’s 
land north and south by public land 
  and also doth bargain & sell the following 
Negro Slaves to wit Big Lone (1) and Lucy (2) 
Young Lone (3) Young Hagar (4) and two children (6) Captain (7) 
Nancy (8) and three children (11) Grace (12) Amy (13) Newton (14) Hector (15) 
Dilin (16) and two children (18) Gino (19) Amelia (20) Juba (21) 
Iris (22) and two children (24) Rhoda (25) Titus (26) Helen (27) Pezarro (28) 
Cornelia (29) Jug (30) Biss (31) Harriett (32) Andrew (33) Adam (34)
