Ben (35) Hagar (old)(36) Julian (37) Sandy and Lydia 
together with their future issue and increase 
of the said female slaves - The said 
land and Negroes having been previously 
mortgaged by the said party of the first part 
to J&C Lawton of Charleston South Carolina 
to secure the payment of Four thousand one 
hundred dollars
     Together with all and singular the edifices 
buildings rights members and hereditaments & appurtenances to the 
same belonging or in any wise appertaining and all 
estate right title interest property claim and 
demand whatsoever of the said party of the first 
part of in or to the same and the reversion and 
reversions remainder and remainders thereof
 To have and to hold the said premises herein 
granted and released with the rights members hered
itament and appurtenances thereunto belonging and 
in every part and parcil thereof unto the parties of 
the second part their heirs and assigns to the 
only proper use and behoof of the said parties of 
the second part their heirs and assigns forever
	Upon condition nevertheless that if the said John 
H. McIntosh Jr. of said party of the first part his 
heirs executors Administrators or assigns shall faith
fully pay to the said parties of the second part 
on or before the first day of January next (1835) nine
teen hundred and sixty dollars & twenty seven cents 
according to the tennor and true intent and meaning 
of his certain promissory not bearing date even with 
these presents and duly made and executed 
the said John Houston McIntosh Jr. The said 
party of the first part to the party of the second
part and also shall pay or cause to be paid
