Letters Patent
The State of Florida
     To All whom these presents shall come Greeting -- 
Whereas S.J. Thomas  T.F. Thomas and R.E. Hill Jr. on the twelfth
day of Ocotber A.D. 1904 filed in the office of the Secretary of State
a proposed Charter of a corporation to be Known as the S.J.
Thomas Company, with a Capital of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00)
dollars for the purpose of buying and selling, Hardware seeds
furniture and any and all kinds of Merchandise; to buy sell
mortgage and lease lands, and to do a general merchantile and
contracting business in connection with hardware seed and furniture
and supplies and materials of all Kinds appertaining thereto
and to exercise such powers as shall be necessary for and
incident to the conducting of said business and have published
due notice thereof and have otherwise complied with the Statute
in such case made and provided.
     Therefore the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above named
persons their associates and successors into a body politic and
corporate in deed and in law by and under the said name
of the S.J. Thomas Company and grants unto them full
authority to exercise the powers and privileges of a
corporation for the purpose above stated in accordance
with their said Charter and the Laws of this State
     In Witness Whereof These Presents have been attested
with the Great Seal and signed and countersigned by
the Governor and Secretary of State of the State of
Florida at Tallahassee the sixteenth day of November  A.D.
1904

                    Notice of Incorporation
     Notice is hereby given that we the undersigned intend to
apply to his Excellency William S. Jennings Governor of the
State of Florida on the 10th day of November  A.D.  1904 for
letters patent to be issued to the S.J. Thomas Company upon
the proposed Charter of said company a copy of which is
as follows:
                     S.J. Thomas
                     T.F. Thomas
                     R.E. Hill Jr.
          Articles of Incorporation of the S.J. Thomas Company
     We the undersigned hereby associate ourselves together
for the purpose of forming and becoming a body corporate
under the laws of the State of Florida and do hereby make
adopt, declare, and subscribe the following as the Articles of
our Incorporation
                   Article 1
The name of this Corporation shall be the S.J. Thomas Company
