                    Letters Patent
     The State of Florida
To All Whom These Presents Shall Come: Greeeting
Whereas, L.R. Woods, C.I. Baird, and J.F. Bunch on the
eighteenth day of January, A.D. 1905, filed in the office of the
Secretary of State, a proposed charter of a corporation to be
known as Standard Fertilizer Company, with a capital of
Seventy Five Thousand ($75,000.00) dollars, for the purpose of
buying, manufacturing, selling, and bartering chemical fertilizers
and such other legitimate business as pertains thereto and have
published due notice thereof, and have otherwis complied
with the statute in such case made and provided;
Therefore, the State of Florida hereby incorporates the above
named persons, their associates and successors into a body
politic and corporate in deed and in law by and under the
said name of Standard Fertilizer Company, and grants unto them
full authority to exercise the powers and privileges of a corporation
for the purpose above stated, in accordance with their said
charter and the Laws of this State.
In Witness Whereof, These presents have been attested with the
Great Seal, and signed and countersigned by the Governor and
Secretary of State of the State of Florida, at Tallahassee, the twenty-
fifth day of February,  A.D.  1905.

                    Notice of Application for Charter, etc.
Notice is hereby given that on the 18th day of February,  A.D.
1905, or as soon thereafter as practicable the undersigned incor-
porators will apply to his Excellency, the Governor of the State of 
Florida, at Tallahassee, Florida, for Letters Patent, for the proposed
Charter, given below, in acordance with the Statutes in such
cases made and provided.
This the 16th day of January,  A.D.  1905.

Charter of Standard Fertilizer Company
                    Article I.
The name of this incorporation shall be Standard Fertilizer
Company.  Its place of business shall be Gainesville, Alachua
County Florida.
                    Article II.
     The general nature of the business to be transacted by this cor-
poration shall be to buy, manufacture, sell, and barter chemical
fertilizers and such other legitimate business as pertains thereto.
                    Article III
     The amount of the capital stock of this corporation shall
be Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) divided into
Seven Hundred and Fifty shares (750) of the par value of
